Editorial standards, use of AI & quality assurance

We want to be transparent about how the content on this website is created, reviewed and who is responsible for it — including with regard to the transparency obligations for AI-generated content under Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the “AI Act”).

Responsibility for the content

Editorial responsibility for all content published on this website lies with the operator named in the imprint. Every published text is reviewed by a human and signed off before it goes live. We do not publish fully automated, unreviewed content.

How our content is created

All pay and collective-agreement figures are based on the applicable IG Metall collective agreements (the ERA framework agreement) and official sources for tax and social-security values. Guide and knowledge articles are written editorially on that basis, checked against the original sources and reviewed regularly.

The “Last reviewed” note on the pay pages states the month in which the underlying data was last verified against the sources. Changes to content and data are tracked in a traceable, versioned way.

Use of artificial intelligence (AI)

AI-assisted tools may be used to support research and the drafting of texts. All content created in this way then undergoes human review and editorial control; editorial responsibility for publication always rests with a natural person (see the imprint). This content therefore falls under the exemption for editorially reviewed content in Article 50(4) of the AI Act.

This website does not use an AI chatbot or any automated conversational feature. We do not publish AI-generated image, audio or video content. The salary calculator relies on fixed, transparent calculation rules and official collective-agreement and tax data — it is not an AI system within the meaning of the AI Act.

Feedback and corrections

All information is provided without guarantee and does not replace individual legal, tax or collective-agreement advice; the applicable IG Metall collective agreements are authoritative. If you nevertheless spot an error, we welcome a note to the contact address given in the imprint. We correct confirmed errors promptly.
